Where can I buy a hand lens? | You want to ask for a x10 hand lens. It's worth trying good opticians or photographic shops, particularly those that specialise in binoculars, telescopes etc. Also there are many advertised on the web from between £4 to £9 or more if you want something more sophisticated though this is not really necessary. I'd advise getting a larger one rather than the tiniest diameter as they're easier to use and it's an advantage to have the slightly wider field of view, also it's useful to be able to attach a chord to enable you to hang it round your neck. They're very easy to lose otherwise! |
Is there a book on how to photograph fungi? | 'How to Photograph Fungi' by Paul Hugill. Go to Blurb for more details. |
